I became a coach because I hate business failure. I feel sickened when I see a small business with good potential go down in flames.

SYKE was born of those feelings. It's my way of putting my experience to work helping small business entrepreneurs get into business and stay in business.

My name is Norm Lehman and I am the founder of SYKE. My story is classically entrepreneurial. I was educated in Journalism and Computer Science and I'm a life-long entrepreneur. I've been a computer programmer, an executive recruiter, a systems consultant, a partner in a direct response marketing firm, an advertising copywriter, creative director and finally president of the 8th largest advertising agency in Canada.

On a personal level, I'm a sailor, a boat-builder, an amateur historian, and a voracious reader.

As an entrepreneur, I've started and run 5 businesses, some very, very successful, and some not.

I learned a lot through my career, because I worked with some of the sharpest people and the best minds anywhere. And I paid attention. I listened. I learned.

And now I earn my living by passing on the lessons, and helping people create success for themselves and their businesses.
